The 4th of July will be here before we know it. Breakfast and merchandise will be available from 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m at the Embden Community Center. (The newsletter said it was until 11:00, but that is incorrect.) We need to pick up and have time to prepare for the 1:00 p.m. boat parade. The parade will begin in Mullins Cove and go up the South Shore and then the West Shore and around the North Shore and East Shore. Look for a post from Olivia for a chance to enter your “board game” boat in the contest. Anyone can join the boat parade, though!
If you haven’t paid your 2024 dues yet, you can do that at the breakfast. You can purchase our new pens or a backpack with our Embden Pond logo. You can catch up with old friends and meet some new ones and neighbors. This year we will feature real eggs, real maple syrup, homemade muffins (we’ll have gluten free as well), fresh fruit, yogurt, sausage, and pancakes made with spring water.
